Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) make a world of difference to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them realize their full potential.
DSPs are the bridge between people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their communities. They work to help them become integrated members of society who can thrive in all areas, from employment opportunities to daily activities like grocery shopping or preparing meals at home for themselves.
What kind of jobs are available in Missouri?
Residential – Providing support where an individual lives by supporting their daily activities, including cooking, cleaning, dressing and bathing.
Day Support – Providing support during the day, assisting individuals in their community, activities, and hobbies.
Employment – Helping individuals find and keep a job in their community by identifying their talents, interests and goals and helping them look for a job with coaching and training.
