The Board has a community center for our consumers and individuals with special needs. The Board also oversees the Lawrence County Case Management, which provides case management/support coordination through a contract with the Department of Mental Health for MR/DD individuals in Lawrence County. The board also recently opened the Woodward Family Learning Center where individuals with an MR/DD diagnosis can come and learn soft skills like cooking, budgeting, how to do laundry, as well as social activities like book clubs, sports talk gatherings, etc.
